anyone have the 30 inch apple monitor?
 

I looked at the 30" Apple today. Has anyone tried multi-tabling with it? I think it's a better setup then the two 21" I have right now.

Dell is introducing a 30 inch soon, which will almost certainly be a lot cheaper than the Apple. don't know how it will compare quality wise.

They had two of these set up next to each other connected to one computer at the Apple store in a mall near me. Craziest thing I've ever seen.

Yes. its very nice. i got mine 7-8 months ago.

I like it a lot more than normal duals, since I can 6 table on the mac with plenty of extra space, and have my 2nd monitor open for whatever.

Very expensive though, and getting the highest resolution required an expensive video card as well. however, i still think it was worth it... although now my Dell 21" looks like crap next to it.

however, I most likely wouldn't get the mac now that Dell has the 30".

They use the same LCD panels but Apple has much higher quality control. At least this was the case a year ago, it could of changed
