Are the HoH books on amazon.com the latest printings which have the typos and other errors corrected? or can the latest printings only be bought through 2+2??

somebody please answer so I can buy the books already! I don't want to end up with the older printings. Barnes and Nobles says on HoH (Pub. Date: December 2004) while Amazon.com says nov 2004.

so they can email me back in a week? somebody here must have ordered HoH from amazon.com to know the answer to my question. Since I want to order both books from amazon I would like at least to know if im getting the latest printings of the books.

They chances that somebody here ordered one or both of the books from Amazon in the past couple weeks, ends up reading this thread, and then decides to reply doesn't seem nearly as certain as it seems you think.

considering the brisk sales this book has experienced, I would be certain you would be receiving the second printing.
I myself just orderd these two books and am confident they will be the second printing.

Hi Ed:

On the title page of each book it will say which printing it is.

Amazon orders books from us every week. They also keep books in inventory. Since I don't have access to their warehouses where the inventory is kept, I can't be sure that all the first printings have been sold out. It's also our experience that some old printings, no matter what the title, can stay in the "pipeline" for a long time and we have no control over that.

With that being said, we began to ship the second printing of Volume I at the end of June, and the second printing of Volume II began to go out about a month ago.

So it seems to me that there would be very few first printings of Volume I still around. In fact, we are now at the very end of our second printing and should begin to ship the third printing (which is still being printed) in about a week. (By the way, we made no corrections between the second and third printings.)

As for Volume II, my best guest is that it is less than 50/50 that you will get a first printing.

Glad to hear the second printings are out now. That was one of the reasons I didn't order HOH vol.2 yet. Guess it's time to get my copy.
