thinking about steals

I'm pretty new to SH (30k hands) I've been trying to stick to the mebenhoe starting hand guide with a few changes when i have a read on a player... I've had moderate sucess at 3-6(6max)... 0.76BB/100.

My question is on some of the hands that I'm stealing with on the Button or CO... Should i be raising some of the weaker hands like JTo or J9o against players that only fold their BB say 20%, 30%, 40%... would it depend on if they are calling stations, or loose aggressive players..

The answer, it depends. If it is a calling station you can raise those weak hands(you are raising them because they have value over a random hand) and then value bet later. If they are LAGs those hands become much harder to play.
