that was interesting, especially the talk of chopping at the end...then buck gets pissy over playing for something, and loses...congrats pfkaok...what did u have the hand he bet 18000 on river and u went all in...to take chip lead back at end

pfkaok wins, i come 4th

i "donked" my chips to him 4 handed with my queens vs his aces.

i had AA on that one, was trying to trap pretty much the whole way but he never stuck in a raise. i really thought he'd call my river push with most pairs, but perhaps i should have raised less.

yeah. that was pretty lame how he really didn't want to chop, its not like he had much of a lead. oh well, i was just happy to take one down. thanks for the support guys.

Grats on taking it down, pfk. On the hand where he had 83 and got a 2nd pair on the river, did you have him beat on the turn with the A in your hand?

Re: Sweat me and pfkaok

well, i had him beat, but with a J. i was pretty confident my hand was good, but i felt it was likely i'd win more by checking behind on the turn and calling a river bet (which he likely would do as a bluff), or betting if checked to on a not too threatening river.

Yeah I figured you were checking behind with the bigger hand. It was definitely the right play as he would've surely led out even if his 2nd pair didn't hit on the river.
