Flop middle pair (treys) in battle of blinds facing a pot overbet

Villian seems solid and views me as being solid based on comments from his chat.

Warning: Donk advice most likely follows.

I have a funny feeling you are behind here (no particular reason, I just have a feeling). That said, with 2000 in the pot and a call costing you more than 1/3 of your remaining stack I view it as a push/fold scenario with calling being a bad option (you really price villian into a later street push by just calling). As my feeling was that you are no good, I muck this one.

I like this hand and am interested in others thoughts.

I muck that and look for a better spot to get my money in. Even if he has a couple overs like KQ/AQ and you are ahead, he has outs. Often times you'll be up against a mid range pocket pair as well. I don't like playing for big chunks of my stack with bottom pair.
