I particularly found the admonition to "Look up as you never know what my come down on you. " to be particularly thought provoking.

You seem to be developing a style of taking a bunch of things that don't seem as though they could be related, then making them all come together to illustrate your point. It's a lot of fun trying to figure out where the hell you'll end up in the end. I agree that this month's was a really good one.

I liked this paragraph:

[ QUOTE ]

The best bang for your buck comes from tiptoeing around the card room and finding the best game to play. Passing the ones you want to play in for the one that gives you the best return for your time. Note I did not say best monetary return for your time. The best return is the game that gives you the combination of the most fun and the most money. As it is a major amount of your life that gets spent sitting waiting for a good hand. Spend it wisely. Oh, another thing, Tim's name was Herb.

[/ QUOTE ]

It's good to be reminded that you should try to enjoy your work. I suppose it's dependent on the individual, but I wonder how much monetary profit should be sacrificed for enjoyment.

I certainly try to mix the two up although I have a bias for the monetary part, I must admit.

So live well all the days of our lives and don't end up sad and disapointed at General Hospital. As the world turns the bold and the beautiful will see the guiding light and won't forgo the passions of the young and the restless--good advice to pass on to all my children...

Why do I get the feeling Zetack shouldn't play poker with the TV on so much.
