Scared with Flopped Ser PP10/20 (X post)

Party Poker 10/20 Hold'em (9 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is UTG+1 with 2, 2.
UTG calls, Hero calls, 5 folds, SB raises, BB calls, UTG calls, Hero calls.

Flop: (8 SB) 7, J, 2 (4 players)
SB checks, BB checks, UTG bets, Hero calls, SB calls, BB raises, UTG 3-bets, Hero calls, SB folds, BB caps, UTG calls, Hero calls.

Turn: (10.50 BB) Q (3 players)
BB bets, UTG calls, Hero calls.

River: (13.50 BB) 7 (3 players)
BB bets, UTG raises, Hero...

Final Pot: 17.50 BB

I was planning on raising the turn with the initial call. Got so much action on the flop that i figured I was against J7/JJ/77/Club draw.

Both villians are SLAGs.

Beautiful flop slowplay, but now you need to raise the turn. Isn't 12.5BB enough to let go of pretensions?

The river makes me want to puke.

I would fold this preflop every time, unless in most loose and passive table in history.

I think the flop slowplay was fine, but I would raise the river.

I would raise the turn and call down if 3-betted.

Since we pretty much only play 22 to catch a set, we are loosing money when we end up playing against for example 2 people in a raised pot.
We are probably making money, due to implied odds, when against at least 3 people in an unraised pot.

I just find that the pots are raised so often that I fold the hand. I mainly play 5/10 at Party and Pacific, but I dont think its that much tighter than 3/6. I could be wrong though :-)

I put a lot of work on my table selection when playing 3/6, most often at least 4 players with vpip>30. At these table I think the limp is easy. With 2 limpers we won't get exposed for isolation nearly as often as if we had open limped.

i'm assuming the board was rainbow, or something, and flushes weren't involved? still, you played this like a pansy...

raise the flop! they're lags, for chrissakes... why must they have a better hand when they're betting/raising? just because you're too afraid to do so?

Game conditions, not stakes, should determine whether or not you play this hand. Seems an easy call to me.
