Just like at the Raiders (-1) last weekend...

When they can't run the ball or stop the run...different story...

Well i notice everytime I have a good weekend of football betting and i see a Monday night game that looks too easy...i stay away...vegas likes to trap the public with lines like this.

If you actually watched that game then you know the Raiders should have won.

Sea-bass missing kicks and Jordan having a sure touchdown tipped away by a lineman at the end of the game, and that crap call on Moss in the endzone.

OP's point stands.

I guess it doesn't matter that the line doesn't come out of vegas? Also, this "trap" game concept, why would it hold true in this case? I think it was a pretty good line and think that the books obviously set the line to their advantage a bit, but a "trap"? I don't think so. But, I am willing to discuss this if you can give me a solid definition of a "trap game".

Guess I was one of the few to pick Denver to win at home. And boy am I happy I did.

The Raiders regularly blow it against the Chiefs though. K.C. can win in Oakland, Denver just is a different story for them.

As a Broncos fan, I can tell you, they've never really been that great on Monday nights in general, even at home. They've definitely had a few agonizing losses at home on Monday nights.

Yes, and if you watched that game, you would have seen it was the Raiders playing, and would have factored in that they've been the best team in the NFL over the last dozen years of finding a way to lose games that they have a chance to win. That game vs. the Chiefs was no exception and no surprise.

Too early to tell if it's really "Chiefs still suck in Denver"

what does 12 (or even 3) years ago have to do with last night?

He's assuming an institutional affliction. Whether that's true or not is a moot point.

Mostly just a retort to that, "If the Raiders had just done __ and ___" and KC hadn't elimnated any of their mistakes, then.... bemoaning (which is valid to some extent, but not at all jiving with the facetious tone of my first post).

Though if the Raiders have made some solid offseason acquisitions (i.e., a certain WR and RB) that has the O/U on their season win total inflated a bit (given their continuing weaknesses in certain areas and tough schedule), then maybe it is something to factor in...
