Blind-stealing with no small blind

When the BB goes out on the previous hand, causing there to be no SB on the current hand, how does this affect your blind-stealing (more / less / different)?

It might be me, but I don't think it's worth it.

Let's say you make a 3BB raise on the button in a steal attempt. If the blinds are 100/200, you're risking 600 to win 300. If no SB, you're only getting 200 for your 600 risk.

while you're risking more proportionally... the BB has the same problem with calling, he's getting worse odds to call you. So you risk more, but you win it more often. So it doesn't normally stop me, especially if there are ante's too.

Also a 3xBB raise is often overkill for stealing.

When this happens, I see a rare case for where a preflop min raise is correct.

Is it really? Are you suggesting 2.5 BB?

All i was saying is it's not a rule to steal with 3xbb... depending on the stack sizes of the blinds and the size of the blinds.. just 2x will do a lot of the time. Mix up the sizes depending on the situation.
