A bluff.

10-handed 3/6 on party.
I open for 20 with 55 in the CO. Been experimenting with raising my small pockets lately. BB calls.
He is one of the many decent non-star players in 3/6. I think so at least, haven 't played a lot with him and didn't have PT on this computer. Slightly loose, moderately aggressive, probably PT stats of about 22/6/2. I think he is capable of making at least moderate laydowns. My stack is 480ish and he covers me.

FLOP ($43): 2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]4 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]4. He checks to me, I bet 30 or 35, can't remember. He raises to 70. I call with a sneaky turn plan.

TURN ($180): 2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]4 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]4(Q)
He bets 100, I move in for 290 more.

What think ye?

The way u played it, looks like an over pair to me.Interesting to know how he plays AK or AQ or big pairs.

Yup, representing an overpair.

Opponent will lay down (probably) any pair from 55-JJ with this play, if he's decent, maybe even KK or AA, if he think's you're capable of raising PF with 45s, as you should be, from the cutoff.

Any 4 calls you instantly.

Good line.
