Turn and River play, AA OTB

Online, 5-handed

Opponents are pretty much unknown, though they seem pretty much typical. Loose and passive with bouts of spastic agression.

1 fold, Dude limps, I raise A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] on the Button, SB folds, BB calls.

Flop: K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

Check, Check, I bet, both call.

Turn: 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

BB checks, Dude checks, I bet, BB calls, Dude check-raises, I 3-bet, BB calls 2, Dude calls.

River: 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

BB checks, Dude bets, I call....

*Just realized this is probably in the wrong forum, but whatever.

well you most certainly have bb beat so there is no need to force him out of the pot so just collect his overcall since you arent usually ahead here even with that six falling.

Any reason not to put the 'dude' on a flush draw? Is he a tricky player who might try to bluff you out of a hand? If so, why not call the turn c/r and call the river? Based on the way he played it, I'd consider he was on a flush draw.

actually now that i look at it again it looks like the dude flopped set and the dude got passive to your 3bet because of the 3rd club and then filled up on the river and said oh i got a house ill bet. the other passive probably has a naked k so you definitely want to just call the river. sucks that they didnt check to you.

i don't even think it's much more than slightly +EV to call down after the turn c/r.. let alone 3-bet it.

river is probably a -EV call.

You don't think it's KJ ever?

sure, once in a blue moon.

to him it sure looks like you have at least a flush here. i would make the call, too, but i think it's -EV.

hey miles what about the dead money that is possibly going into the hand from the bb overcall?

well it pads the pot a little sometimes, but probably not enough to make the call +EV. like i said i still call, but i don't think i should.

i think we should go for the overcall even with a flush here.

Why are we 3-betting this turn, to scare him into thinking we have a bigger flush?

The river call is not good, methinks.
