Just found out i will be working in Anderson SC for six months....
where are the nearby B&Ms

Ouch... hope you like online play.

I think Harrahs (?) has a casino in western NC now, but I'm pretty sure they didn't have poker when I checked. I forget what even motivated me to check since I don't live near there, but I had the clear impression they didn't offer poker.

Yea, no poker in NC at all, including Harrah's Cherokee casino in Western NC. The last year and half has been a big "back and forth" between Harrah's and the state. They even built a poker room, but were told they can't have poker at the last second.

Western NC is not a good place to be a poker player [img]/images/graemlins/mad.gif[/img]

There are no B&M within 5-6 hours. I'm in Atlanta, and the closest card rooms are Biloxi or the Silver Star in Philadelphia, MS. Welcome to the Bible Belt.
