Raymer\'s Book?
 

I read a recent interview with Greg Raymer that he's writing a book. Does anyone have any information on it? Preferably, does anyone know what it's about, and when it's coming out? Any skepticism of Raymer can be wiped out after watching ESPN's coverage of "The Final table with the 'Fossilman'". His explanations are just spot on, and after making it down to three tables at this year's WSOP main event was just icing on the cake. Fossilman is here to stay! Roll on, buddy.

I was about to make the same post.

It was previewed by Mason sometime last year in their coming attractions of books to come out (that I believe also included GSIH, HOH and Sklansky/Miller Theory of No Limit....also there was some new book by Schoonmaker that was to compare poker with the business-world as well I think).


I asked about the Raymer book and what the status was in a different thread...but I forgot where that thread is so I'm not sure if Raymer responded (I guess I can just search for recent Raymer posts).

But if Mason has any info on when we might expect the Raymer book I would be very interested.
The book could be especially intertesting now if Raymer has time to include some of the 2005 WSOP as well.

I'm also very curious about the Schoonmaker book.

Hi Bob:

The business book by Alan Schoonmaker will not be done by us. Instead we are working on Poker Psychology Essays that we hope to have out before the end of the year.

As for the "Fossilman" book, the last time I talked to Greg, a couple of weeks ago, he did state that progress was being made. As soon as he's ready to submit a manuscript to us, we'll give it a top priority, but at this moment I can't give a projected date.
