$11\'s Problems ITM...
 

Not too long ago, someone posted a reply to me and said that I need to push any 2 from SB when ITM. I should probably find that post, b/c there must have been more to it than just any two... maybe the blinds were super high relative to stack sizes. Since reading that post I think I am getting more 3rds. Please see below, and give me a refresher on playing ITM. Thanks

Sorry, but the hand sucks. The advice sucks even more. You have 17BB. Play some poker.

It was Mr. Hyde that made that push.

It's actually probably a +$EV push, but it's probably not optimal. I'd just fold and at least fool myself into believing that I'm increasing my future FE.

When you are pushing effectively (the lower of your stack and his) more like 5 or 6 or maybe 7 big blinds is when it becomes a push any two.

I found the post where I received that advice. The blinds were very high BB was 300-500 for the posted hands... why do I always forget the important factors... Thanks guys.

You will learn more by playing around with SNGPT/a free ICM calculator & answering these questions for yourself than by asking the forum.

You can push a fair amount here. Perhaps as much as 45% of the time. I wouldn't push 100% or 94o, but this is certainly a good place to get aggressive. Eventhough the efffective stack size is over 10 BB, I would still be pushing a ton of hands. Just something more then 94o
