Laying Down KK preflop?

I don't have a hand history for this (played on PokerRoom)

Relevent Stacks:
UTG+1: $3.75
MP2: $32.00
Hero(CO): $34.25

Hero Dealt Kd Ks

Action:
UTG+1 raises to $1
folded to MP2 who RR to $3.75
Hero re-RR to $10
UTG+1 calls all in.
MP2 raises pot all-in.

Hero:...?

MP2 had been playing pretty weak-tight, never showing this much preflop action since I'd been at the table. UTG+1 doesn't bug me at all, he'd taken a bad beat a few hands earlier and had been kinda happy to bet his remaining stack since then. I'd been playing somewhat loose with selective agression. I was prepared to call, but then I stopped for a moment on a premonition. This guy was just playing too assuredly preflop for a weak-tight player. I considered that he maybe had KK as well, but that seemed unlikely, and even then I'm not as sure he would have played THIS agressively. I ended up folding, but since UTG+1 was all-in, I got to see if I was right or wrong. Anyone have thoughts about throwing away KK preflop?

No.

There's an FAQ for a reason. Namely, that people ask "Shoudl I have laid down KK pre-flop" all the time. The answer is always "No."

At these stakes, 3-handed, I don't think I would ever lay this down.

At higher stakes, 10-handed, I would rarely lay it down.

But I think he is posting this because he called and the villain showed AA and he lost his buyin. But hell no am I ever laying this down.

That's the only reason anyone every posts these hands. When villain shows QQ or AK, they just make brag posts about what fish people are.

I'm asking more about this in relation to the specific player I described. Someone who is weak-tight, and hasn't re-raised a PF raise since I sat down, and open-raises PF maybe once every two orbits.

What hands do you think someone who plays so weak would play this way? Anything besides AA or KK I doubt. Maaaaaaybe QQ, but I see that as less likely than another KK.

Can't really ever throw away KK preflop at these stakes, no matter what.
