Take a shot? T7s

10/20 6-max (6-handed)

Hero is SB with T7s.

Preflop: 40/10 UTG limps, Hero completes, 50/10 BB checks.

Flop is Q86r. There are 3 SB in the pot. You have a strong gutshot, a backdoor flush draw with the queen, and a runner-runner backdoor straight draw.

Do you bet?

I don't think a bet is +EV here. There are just too many hands that your opponents will call with, like A5 or 9T.

Against a 40/10 and a 50/10, no. Open my eyes please.

against lps I valuebet hands already on the board like mid pair, counting on them to go too far with weak draws.

with unamazing draws I check hoping for a freecard

SW: I think it is best to check. I think you are raised too often by a pair and don't take the pot down often enough with your bet.

If the players are on the bad end of the spectrum in terms of postflop play, I would usually call if BB bets and UTG overcalls. Your totality of outs (including 1-2 pair outs) and superior postflop judgment makes this play profitable.

I'd be more inclined to fire out a bet on the turn if it gets checked around, depending on how I feel the opponents will react to the particular turn card.

depends on what they are like post flop. Im only betting here if I have some chance that they both fold along with my draws. If they are the "press call button and pray" types, then no, I check and hope I see the turn for free.

This is close to being a good board for that tho (them folding), but there are better boards. But again, some people will still call a flop bet on a K83r with Q7, so it all comes down to their tendancies

I checkfolded to UTG's bet. Wondered if I'd been too wimpy about it.

Sounds like a resounding "no" from the gallery. Thanks guys.

I think checking is best. These guys will just find too may excuses to call a flop bet.

But...but...all the other guys were calling the flop too...

The dog ate my fold button...

Plus I had two live undercards and a runner-runner draw to a flush draw.
