I hate Jacks
 

Jacks have been giving me trouble lately. Either I take the blinds, or maybe get one caller and take that, or else I bleed when someone has trips or hits an overcard or whatever. I feel like treating them like 33. Maybe it's that I will throw TT away when a K hits the turn, but here I bet the jacks again.

Villain's only been at the table one orbit, so no read. He's not too grossly loose or tight, not too bluffy nor too passive.

The way I usually play this is check the turn, call a reasonable river bet.

I think villain has either A9 or some kind of busted straight draw.

Yeah, I hate the turn bet. Especially the size. Either bet a bit more, or check it through. Checking is best play though.

Just to be clear, the reason that I check the turn is to induce a river bluff by a worse hand.
