FUNNIEST HOME GAME STORY!
 

OK...one of my supervisors had a home game at his house. The games started to get pretty big...$20 buy in with 30 + players. One of the regional managers went to one of the games with his GF one day. He was on the same table with me and another "employee" on my table. For 45 Min straight all this "employee" did was talk [censored] to the regional manager not knowing who he was. When the Manager cracked him out of the game...the "employee" came up to him ...stuck his hand out...and as the Manager lifted up his hand the Employee said YOU SUCK and walked away...

As he was walking away the Manager WENT PSYCHO. Gave him 2 COLD SHOTS into the face and yelled "DO YOU KNOW WHO I AM? DO YOU KNOW WHO I AM? THATS HOW WE DID IT IN JUVEE!"

now the funny thing about this story is that "employee" who got hit in the face got called in the office that morning to get his PAPERS... His nose was so badly broken that they had to break it again to set the bone.

So the guy got fired for talking [censored] in a non-work related game?

I'd pull an American Beauty and say the regional manager fired me because I refused to let him blow me. Then he assaulted me.

Hilarious story but it sounds like the employee got fired for being an (expletive) out of the workplace. Not to say he didn't deserve it but I think thats a little overkill. I mean his broken nose should be punishment enough.

If I'm the manager, I find excuses to "manage" this douchebag out of a job. Anyone who is that much of a dick in a poker tournament is not someone I want working for me. Dickishness is not entirely situational. I do not hit him.

If I'm the fired employee, I file a police report and request criminal charges against the supervisor for assault and battery. I may also file a civil suit for recovery of expenses, pain and suffering. No need to pull a bullshit "American Beauty" stunt. The manager was out of line, and worse than the employee (who, nonetheless, deserved this inappropriate beating).
