i was planning on goin to the felt on a non-A non-Q flop, does this sound right?

Re: Standard?

Limp-reraise from a guy with 40/0 stats? Can this really be QQ? I think you are splitting or in big trouble here. Is this a laydown preflop?

Pity you didn't have a few more hands for your stats - if this guy was really only a few percent raiser, you have to consider laying this down.

Re: Standard?

well, if this is true than i can play it for set value, yeah?

Re: Standard?

Paying $20 for the chance of hitting the set, you have to be certain he will pay you off his whole stack when you hit. You're right though - he probably can't get away post flop.

Re: Standard?

yeah, he can't be sure i don't have AK and will pay off probably

so i guess the real question is do i check/fold a T73r flop

Macquarie 08-10-2005 08:57 PM

Re: Standard?

Well, now I've correctly called preflop, I think I would certainly fold if bet to on any non-king flop. It would be odd if he checked to you. I'd probably check behind.

Re: Standard?

A raise from your right is either a re-raise or fold. The 5-10 % rule by Ciaffone would indicate a clear fold.So without clear tells etc.,I would be inclined to fold.

villian is 17/7 over ~100 hands, haven't noticed him do anything special yet

Re: Standard?

You only have 30 hands on this guy, that is no reason to conclude that he has AA just because he limp re raises, he also has a vpip of 40 which means he more likely is a donk. I think you made a mistake by just calling PF because you prolly going to try to get your money in on a non A flop and on an A flop you going to muck. I think you shoulda 3 bet pf and folded to a raise.
