why'd you 3 bet? I'm probably folding to the first raise since you're OOP and you'll be playing a big pot if called

Reraising flop is the mistake here. Just fold to the raise. Barring a read saying this guy is a nutcase, your hand is most likely no good. Even if it is, you will most likely be facing another big bet on the turn. Calling down with TPGK isn't one of my tactics.

But then again, I fold to resistance frequently in spots like these.. uh, not good spots. :-/

I wasnt thinking clearly and totally didnt see the obvious 6 7 he could have had, I just thought a set or a9 so i wanted to make sure.

You guys wouldn't call here? Barring he has the nuts, a lot of cards here would help on the turn. Any king, any 9 or even a diamond gives you more outs. I would call and see a turn then decide whether or not to check raise him all-in. I guess this also depends on my read of the guy. If hes been pretty solid then I guess thats really risky to do. But if hes been folding or giving you credit then why not make a play at it. I would call the raise but not reraise there on the flop. The reraise was the only mistake I think.

i would prefer a c-c on the flop to a reasonable bet.

If he's been giving you credit than he obviously has something he likes. Do you see the contradiction here?

Do you see the contradiction?

Very true Didn't realize my contradiction when I was typing. But yes very good point. Even so, I think a call of the original raise then reevaluating the turn is a good play. A call of a raise then a check raise usually indicates a massive hand. But like I said, this play is only good if he doesn't have the nuts; if he has that then obviously a fold would be the correct play.

Anyone like a Check call fire a blank or diamond turn? Probably the best line OOP to keep the pot yours and manageble, and give hand sthat you beat a change to contribute.
