is 1/2 NL the new 2/4 4/8 Limit at B&M's?

Played the Trop this past weekend and some of the bets people were calling were just absolutely insane. For this reason, I moved up to 2/5 NL.

Anyway else get this impression?

He probably thinks its funny that you observe people making stupid plays / calls at 1/2 NL limit and your reaction is to want to avoid them by moving up in limits.

Last night I saw a guy raise the $2 blind to $22, then another reraise to $55, then a COLD CALL by a "pair of threes" and "jack-seven suited."

ok, I know that these are the people you want at the table cuz in the long run, fish will lose.

BUT, it's freakin frustrating when someone sucks out on you.
also, everyone has a different tolerance for variance.

Why would you move up? Don't you want them to call you when you have the best of it?
