The most beyond-a-doubt most disturbing thing ever was when my friend (3 years my senior, me being about 9) stole some Playboys from his dad's room. We get all my friends together, and retreat to our clubhouse to look at them (what the hell is THAT? Why does she have THAT down there?).

This makes me cringe to this day: my friend, Robbie, who lived up the street, says "Hey, my dad has some of that, too!"

He returned less than 3 minutes later with CHILD PORNOGRAPHY. We're talking kids that were my age at the time doing unspeakable things to each other. It really didn't hit me until they had moved away a few years later how wrong and sick that was.

Now put yourself in my shoes. I was at his house 4 times a week. His dad was always there. I stopped going anywhere near his house immediately after I was about 3 weeks into sex-ed, and finally figured out how horrible what I had seen actually was. I stopped talking to Robbie soon after I quit going to play Nintendo with him.
