I bought these Faux Clay 6 cents a chip, good feel, good stackability, though a little plain jane.

However my recommendation would to buy both of these sample sets, which cover different price ranges, and decide for yourself.

Cheap Samples More Expensive Samples

Signup at chiptalk.net - lurk for a few days and you'll know what to buy. If you're married, stay away - you'll find that the site can be harmful to your marital relations.....

They also have a decent Member-to-member section there where people offload their lesser chips when they buy customs, etc. You can find a good deal on occasion.

What's your budget?

Once you've established this, get some samples of chips that are in your price range.
