Yep and I don't think most players bet more than the pot.

I have a default that i'll use here on these freakin fish. It seems that they love the minraise so much, that I'll bet half of what I would be willing to call, expecting to be minraised, sometimes by worse hands sometimes by better...I find that it works very well..if you were to bet say $2 here, it's likely he would only raise to $4...or try $1 to pay $2.
