What should I ask for Christmas? My main game is SNGs and my primary reading material is always the single table tourny forum, but I'm gonna get a book no matter what.

I'd get Pot limit & no limit poker or Phil Gordon's Little Green Book. Probably LGB.

HOH1 & HOH2 then get Little Green Book. All are great and are most useful for tounraments. TOP is a great book but it is geared toward limit and Sklansky/Miller will be coming out w/ a NL theory book around March so I would just wait for that.

Start at the beginning, on the first street. Build the foundation from there. Makes life simpler.

Actually, I thought those were books you were thinking of getting. I missed that it was your 'current' collection.

Are you strong in any of those games? Do you have the other books concepts down? If not, I'd get a book that would help fill in some blanks if you have any.

Personally, I'd just concentrate on 1 form and get it down. Then expand into other areas.

I'd like to wholeheartly recommend anything by Phil Helmuth ... He is amazing on so many levels !!
