Favorite poker hands

Lots of poeple have different favorite hands. A lot like Q5s. Some like 55o. I like JJo and QKs myself.

Does anyone like 2Jo?

I am kind of partial to AJ at the moment (it was my 'winning' hand recently). I have a hard time getting away from things like KTs and QTs. Probably a big leak, but they look so pretty and so powerful sitting there, all suited and everything!

I'm currently in love with QQ. It has won a lot for me lately and when it loses I don't feel like I was "owed" the pot like I do when I lose with AA.

i like J10o for one bet but wont play K10o. Strange because K10o dominates J10o.

89s. Only because i once flopped a striaght flush with it which improved on the river. After that hand, i have a very hard time mucking it pre-flop.

No real favorites, although at the moment I'd have to say KJs. The last two times I've had it I flopped an Ace-high straight, and made plenty off people chasing a flush or calling down with a pair.

Yeah, 72o

You know EXACTLY what to do with it, lol. I love all hands equally... however I don't play them all. Heheheh.

for a relatively cheap flop I like a nice 22 or 33 against a strong ace...especially if you make a set and you opponent hits an ace or even two pair on the flop

Who could we name KJo? Ryan_21 gets my vote as of today.

I'm partial to KJs myself, also. Suited paint just look so pretty!

Re: Favorite poker hands

personally, I like a pair of pocket 6's -

I'm always trying to catch a set on the flop, and when I get 666, just someting about it gives me a boost of confidence and sorta demoralizes the other players...and it seems like I hit a set of 6's more often then I should

It's like they're playing the devil or something - they start slowing down

My favorite is A [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] A [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], but I like the four color version where they are green and blue. It's why AAmaz0n has two A's.

They represent the two ways I usually get money, sweet talking someone into giving me diamonds, or clubbing them over the head and taking their wallet.

Probably due to my lack of skill and results influencing me too much.....I actually hate JJ.....I much prefer TT or 99 or AJ as I am more comfortable mucking these when the situation dictates.

I love 2Jo. All day all nite. Whenever I get the oppurtunity....2Jo is my favorite. I even play that hand in the bathroom when I'm on Wi-Fi.

Nothing better than 2Jo. It makes me feel sofaking good.

2Jo is a very safe play when an oponent has 33

Every hand is horrible unless the flop hits you IMO

I used to play 69 unsuited a lot.

I've tried naming this hand the "Bill and Ted" hand, but it hasn't caught on. Not enough people watched "Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure."

I'm with fishy.

Played in 2 freeroll tourneys in the last 2 days.

Busted out of both of them with JJ.

But other than that quite proud of my finishes: 34th out of 4990 and 125th out of 6111.

I like Q2s for personal reasons. A nick name for a cash cow at work . I fold the Q2o for the anguish I endured for the Q2 anomaly .

Re: Favorite poker hands

My "lucky hand" is 10-4 clubs. I took two huge pots with it in one day (low limit, late position, family pots) and denoted it as lucky from that day on. Now I'll play it in any game and any position (and may raise with it) as long as I don't anticipate more than two bets pre-flop. I believe that mixing up play to keep opponents guessing is worthwhile, but this is as far as this conservative player is willing to go. 10, 4 of clubs is the only hand that I'll gamble on. It's a far better "lucky hand" than A9o which 80%-90% of players insist on calling. It looks absolutely horrible, as it doesn't connect, yet it can hit a flush and then your opponents starts cussing at you...it's great.

Re: Favorite poker hands

I'm partial to a set of 8s, because as a very new poker player I bet it to the end in a game of baseball (where if you don't have 5 of a kind- you should probably fold).

In hold 'em I like A9s, and right now I'm feeling QQ, because I've got it like 6 times this weekend.

Didn't think I'd see anyone else one here pulling for the ole KJs. My fave as well, these days. It's been good to me. And so very pretty...
