Every hand is horrible unless the flop hits you IMO

I used to play 69 unsuited a lot.

I've tried naming this hand the "Bill and Ted" hand, but it hasn't caught on. Not enough people watched "Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure."

I'm with fishy.

Played in 2 freeroll tourneys in the last 2 days.

Busted out of both of them with JJ.

But other than that quite proud of my finishes: 34th out of 4990 and 125th out of 6111.

I like Q2s for personal reasons. A nick name for a cash cow at work . I fold the Q2o for the anguish I endured for the Q2 anomaly .

I recently heard this referred to as "Happy Meal" on Party

Re: Favorite poker hands

My "lucky hand" is 10-4 clubs. I took two huge pots with it in one day (low limit, late position, family pots) and denoted it as lucky from that day on. Now I'll play it in any game and any position (and may raise with it) as long as I don't anticipate more than two bets pre-flop. I believe that mixing up play to keep opponents guessing is worthwhile, but this is as far as this conservative player is willing to go. 10, 4 of clubs is the only hand that I'll gamble on. It's a far better "lucky hand" than A9o which 80%-90% of players insist on calling. It looks absolutely horrible, as it doesn't connect, yet it can hit a flush and then your opponents starts cussing at you...it's great.

I'm partial to a set of 8s, because as a very new poker player I bet it to the end in a game of baseball (where if you don't have 5 of a kind- you should probably fold).

In hold 'em I like A9s, and right now I'm feeling QQ, because I've got it like 6 times this weekend.

Didn't think I'd see anyone else one here pulling for the ole KJs. My fave as well, these days. It's been good to me. And so very pretty...
