What makes you think UTG will bet here?
Giving a free card to a flush draw on the turn would be bad.

I continur betting and make him call down. He will take a free card often enough and if he has a flush draw or a gutshot it would really suck to lose this hand without making him pay.

Checking this turn is awful. Don't get fancy. If you bet a street, you almost never want to check the next street, intending to check raise. This is called a "sexy", and is a pretty advance move. I have no idea where to even use it, so you should definetly not be trying it.

In this particular hand, you have no reason to believe UTG will bet, and you very well could be giving a free card when there are two potential flush draws, and a straight draw out there. Just bet.

It just seemed like with the type of flop that came that he would try to bluff or maybe had a small pair, and since the 3 was paired, I didn't think it was highly likely that he was holding the last 3.

People don't bluff as much as you think. He will bluff sometimes, but if he checks the turn 50% of the time (he checks quite a bit more than this), that is really bad for you. Him having the last 3 is of no concern, it rarely ever happens. It is the flush draws primarily, and straight draws secondarily that you should be worried about. Bet this hand for value.
