anyone ever accept a \"if you\'re so good i\'ll play you heads up\" offer?
 

i see this all the time on party. "if you think you're good come play 10/20 heads up with me right now" or whatever. anyone ever accept this? i think i'm pretty decent heads up and a lot of the time when these guys have 50 vpips i have to think it'd probably be pretty profitable.

yes and it turned out very well for me, but it is HU so there is tons of variance as you know and anything could happen

Once. It was on Party and after 15 mins I had all the chips minus $12 rake!!! [img]/images/graemlins/mad.gif[/img] at the 25NL table

Not taking a 50 VPIP's offer on playing heads up is similiar to burning money. Here is one I played.

Having the BB with the button completely ruins the game, it gives impetus and position to the player that shouldn't have it. If you've played HU with proper blinds (UB, AP, Stars for their .02/.04 stuff, I don't know about pokerroom), playing with party's blinds is utterly homosexual. I'm also pretty sure the rake for HU games at party is going to be hideous, although I don't play there 3-handed or less enough to know and at the 10 and 15 games it'll be less of a concern, although even .5/hand like UB games turns into a large amount of money relatively quickly.
