first hand post- is my turn fold weak or correct?

Hey. As the subject clearly describes, this is my first actual hand post. i wanted to use the converter, but quickly realized i do not know how! if someone could provide a link, id be much obliged.

anyway, the game is party 2/4, 9 handed. i have no good read on villain.

i open raise with kh qh after 4 folds. another fold, and then button coldcalls. 1 more fold, and bb (villain) calls my raise.

flop is q 10 4 w/ 2 diamonds. checked to me. i bet and both call.

4th street brings a 9h. checked to me and i bet. button folds, and villain checkraises, hero (fearing kj immediately before cr) folds.

weak tight v. unknown?

I'd probably call down. QJ, JT, J9 are possible.

yeah, that's what i was thinking afterwards. i have trouble with turn raises, struggling to correctly walk the fine line between weak-tight and compulsive chip spewing. any suggestions anyone.

You raised pf and then bet the flop with TPGK. He might just see that you raised pf and then bet the flop no matter what. If he's tricky, or crazy, or doesn't think you have anything he can cr with a J because he now has an open ended straight draw. He might also be on the flush draw and decided(he's bored, drunk, horrible) to represent the straight draw which is now a made straight. Or maybe he's knows you're weak tight as all hell and that a cr will get you to fold enough to make it a winning play. Regardless I three bet the turn here and call him down if he four bets. If he calls I value bet the river(No matter what it is) and if he folds I give him a special place in my heart...

The Ron Burgundy I know didn't get those guns by "calling down".

Pretty awful fold. You have a gutshot draw, about 9 outs assuming he has 2 pair or better, which you don't know he has as he's an unknown, you could be good here. I would even call down without the gutshot draw.

It is weak, and this is why:

hero (fearing kj immediately before cr) folds.

Why are you worried about that 1 specific hand against an unknown opponent?

b/c im weak tight? !!!

for some reason i am sometimes paranoid about calling down more often than i should after turn raises.
with the pace of internet play, sometimes i dont give adequate thought to each decision as i should. i thought he would raise with kj, but what else? a weaker queen maybe. i guess with unknowns, the consensus seems to be call down unless folding is clear?

thanks for the comments

KJ, 2-pair, any queen, many tens (especially JT), 2 diamonds, pocket pairs, and occasional bluffs. There are a class of opponents who plan to bluff when the PFR doesn't catch an ace or king and their hand is reasonable. Folding too often in these spots can cause you lots of problems.

This fold may be correct, but your logic ('no read, but I'm sure he has KJ') is awful.
