Which is the toughest table?
 

Assume all 5 opponents have the same stats. Which table is your worst nightmare?

I personally have issues if the whole table is tight and aggressive preflop. I end up having to play my cards more than my opponents.

40/30 because of so much varience, Having to play few hands due to unknown domination.

Id rather a table full of weak tight tags [img]/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img]

So I pretty much run away screaming except at the 20/12 table. I struggle the most with the 40/30 players, and a table that averages that frightens the bujeezus out of me. I know it shouldn't, but it does. Next task: learn how to play against aggressive players.

It looks like at the 20/12 or 25/15 table you'll encounter fewer exploitable mistakes. So regardless of +variance of the others, I say either of the tighties is no good.

I usually do well against tags for some reason but 40/30's kill me. But I usually get up from a 27/19 average table because I figure I'm not likely to make much. I probably need to be more patient at those aggressive tables.

That said I picked 30/20 because I think it's pretty much the worst of both worlds - 40/30's are seeing a bit too many hands and because of the insane preflop action I can usually control myself and wait for premium hands. 30/20 I just have to get in there and mix it up.

Varience blows, which may make me tilt so +EV table is usually the tag one where i concentrate more and

Improve as a player,
Potentially make more cash(with less varience),
Enjoy the games/Challenge.

The maniac table = Me playing tight, ABC poker, Getting outdrawn by tards and tilting occasionally.

You'd encounter the most exploitable mistakes on the 20/12 table in my not so humble opinion. You'd encounter the most mistakes on the 40/30 table, but they do due to their stats pretty much collude to keep you from exploiting said mistakes.

30/20 would scare me the most. I know a lot the the top shorthanded players on this forum play a 30/20 style. 20/12 is probably a little too weak-tight and 40/30, the players are too loose preflop, and its easier to isolate their mistakes. 25/15 is often the indicator of a pretty solid player, but the 30/20 just scares me more because of their high levels of aggression and players with those stats will just run you over when you are getting a bad string.

it's definitely 25/15 or 30/20. if you could play tiltless poker the entire time the better table would be 30/20, imo. but i voted 30/20 because i know i'd get angry after making a few losing call downs with AJ or getting 3-bet by KJs and losing with KQ on a KJ4 flop.
