AA vs. single suit board

MP2 was 27/10/2.2 after 227 hands.

I think the only mistake I made was not 3-betting the flop.

If I 3-bet the flop and it's capped, do I lead out the turn? to any non- [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

I 3bet the flop and bet/fold the turn regardless of what happens.

Assuming villian is capable of capping with a draw

Yea what you said Rusty. 3-bet the flop and lead out on a non spade turn. Otherwise, it looks good.

I'd 3 bet that flop then call down if you meet any more resistance.

If the 3bet is called then i'd keep firing away again calling down if met with more resistance or if a 4th [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] hits.

If it was 2 cold to you on any of the big streets i think you can fold easily but i don't think you want to be folding an overpair for single bets here.

If the flop is capped i'd check the turn.

This hand is played well on all streets. A flop 3-bet accomplishes little because a flush draw can cap for value. Your pot equity goes way up on the turn when the blank falls.

Yeah, I agree and I like the stop-n-go on the turn blank.

If we 3-bet and get capped we still have to bet the turn, so the stop-n-go accomplishes the same line but costs less. I wish someone smart could figure out if this is better than missing value from the people who will call the 3-bet on the flop.

I'd do what you did.

There's a raise and 3 cold-callers. I'm a little concerned about a slowplayed flush at that point.
On the turn I would bet/fold at any non-spade (including those that pair the board -- hoping to squeeze the players who remember my pre-flop raise). I'd check/fold any spade.

I don't like three-betting the flop because it doesn't get you any useful information. If you were to 3-bet the flop, the A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] can cap getting good value for his semi-bluff against 4 opponents. But a made flush will also cap it.

I'd like to get away cheap if another spade falls.
