The \"Official\" March Madness in Vegas Thread - Who\'s going?

Poker rate at the Bellagio is not effective on the first weekend of March Madness, March 17-20. However, it is effective during the second weekend of the tournament, the sweet 16 and elite eight.

I've already booked at Bellagio...who else is going?

I'll be there with bells on. My 12th straight year for opening weekend of March Madness. If you like hoops, you shouldn't miss it.

Each year has been progressively more crowded--I've heard it's passed Super Bowl for sports betting. Last year large convention in town, had to pay $200/nite at Imperial Palace! And that was a bargain!

Hoops by day, poker by nite....did I mention sleep?

I'll most likely be there March 15-20, although this news about the B not giving the poker rate until the next weekend might push us back to that weekend.

An update on the Bellagio poker rate during March:

I just called and she said March gets tight because they only have so many rooms in their block, but there's no "blackout" for any time other than the weekend of the finals. Then, I asked specifically about March 15-20 and she said she only has rooms for high-limit rated players.
