party step prizes incorrectly displayed on webpage

I just entered the 4th step 2 table tournament on party and noticed this wrong info on the webpage when reading about the steps. The prizepool for the tournament is 10K with a 1st prize of 3K, yet the info below obviously tells a different story.

i really hope you're not trying to be an idiot. i posted this link in the OP and the info listed on the page is clearly wrong. 9K for first place in a tourny that only has a 10K prizepool?

NEW: Our Multi-Table Steps now only have 4 Steps!

These STEPS are available in a Multi-table as well as in a Single-table Sit & Go format. There are 5 STEPS to the top where $$$$$ awaits the winner.

Exactly...they didn't update certain parts of the page it would appear.

It specifically says "NEW: Now only 4 steps."
and then goes on to explain how "there are 5 steps to the top."

It's kinda weird and I'll be damned if I can figure it all out.
This is the same group that is bringing you the Canadian Poker Championships that are NOT in Canada.

On the PPM 'extra-starting chips' section under 'my account' it was saying for the longest time "these are the points you've accumulated in Jan and Feb that you can use for the semi-finals in March" (or something like that).
In fact, the points were in July and Aug and were good for the semi's in Sept....but they just didn't update the months part at the bottom of the page thus leaving many of their customers confused because they wanted to know how many extra chips they had NOW...not for the one from several months ago.
In fact, they were looking at how many they had now...they just didn't realize it was a stupid typo (or non-update really) that was tripping them.
I know a couple of people who didn't bother trying to qualify because they were confused by this aspect.

They have since updated this part by the way.
It is just reminiscent of the current section on the multi-tables steps where they have a new format...but forget to delete info from the old format.

What was impressive about the 'extra-starting chips' thing is that they left it up there for several months before correcting it.

Way to act like a multi-billion dollar corporation Party!!!
