77 BB first hand

Absolute 2/4 6max. I get dealt 77 in my first BB. UTG raises and it's folded to me (I call, anyone 3bet?). Flop comes Q64 all diamonds (which I don't have). What's my play?

c/r and call a 3bet, then fold the turn? Are we getting 20-1 on calling the 3bet? It seems like calling the 3bet is a waste of money. Can someone explain why we call here.

i apologize i didnt see there were diamonds out there. that changes everything. firstly i dont like the checkraise anymore. checkcall down imo. secondly, if you did checkraise and were 3bet its an easy fold with the monotone board. i didnt realize it was.

in the hand i c/c and then donked the turn (a red 2). I didnt want to give a diamond a free card....

i like a c/r except that puts me in a crappy turn situation a lot- what am i trying to represent w/ the c/r? a diamond? a Q?

i like the turn donk if you feel safe folding to a raise, but i never do. i feel more comfortable letting the opponent take his free card if he wants it. your hand doesnt have much value against a hand with 15 outs anyway so protecting it isnt at all important. most of the time he wont take the free card anyway, hell bet.
