PLO8 Final Table AAJ3 hand vs big stack bully

Not NLHE but humor me. Omaha tourneys are tourneys too.

Don't have the history so I'll summarize.

5 handed. 30+3 PLO8 tourney.

Stacks may be a bit off but the point is I'm solidly second. Big stack is a good player who is playing overaggressive on the flop, often after potbuilding raises. He's seeing a lot of flops. He's definitely stealing some on the flop but he's shown down the goods too. He's willing to gamble but with no draws on the flop below that isn't really relevant other than to paint a picture.

SB Hero 22000 [A [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 3 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]]
BB 8000
UTG Villain (~ a shitload - lets say 55000)
CO 12000
Button 7000

Blinds 400/800.

Villain limps. Fold. Fold.

Hero pots it to T3200 total. BB folds. Villain calls

Flop (T7200) is Q 5 5 rainbow, one club.

Hero bets 5000. Villain raises to 10000.

Hero isn't good enough to figure out if he has a 5 or is FOS, yells at computer and... ?

This is definitely a hand where an indidual read is huge, and you have to be there to get a really good read, but default, this is an easy fold IMO.

Disclaimer: I suck at all forms of omaha, although this may be my best form.

i'd fold if villain has any idea of what he's doing

You think he'd randomly put the OP to the test without a 5?

Maybe like AQxx, I guess.

Given the description of this villain, I think you have to go with the overpair.

Particularly since this is PLO/8, villain could easily be bluffing, thinking you may have A2/A3 and missed the flop. He could also have a lower pocket pair or a Q and think he may be ahead.

On the negative side, villain could have QQ as well as a 5, but he might flat call with a boat.

Using a big stack and potting preflop and most flops is knowing what you're doing. This strategy seems to work even better in Omaha where most players are constantly nutpeddling. Personally I'd need a read on just how aggressive he's been playing. There's a difference between betting the flop and RAISING on the flop. The fact that he raised you looks more legitimate. Unless he's made a habit of raising on the flop.
