played perfectly, or chip spewing?

I don't post in this forum much, but I think this hand was interesting. Stars 30/60. SB in this hand has been playing tight. My table image is very tight. I laid down AK on a K957 board to a raise on the turn. My reads on everybody have been very accurate so far. I put SB on TT+ and AK. I called the flop to bet the turn if he checked, possibly raise if he bet and I thought he was weak. SB paused for about 10 seconds before betting the turn and about 10 seconds before calling my raise on the turn.

It's ok until the river. Break this down - what hands are calling on the river that you beat? I see AQ, and possibly 77. A6s, is, I guess possible. However, I also see AK,KQ,KT,AJ, QQ, TT, 99 all calling. I also see JJ, KJ raising and possible (though unlikely) KK, 66. The hands that call that are losing vs the hands that call that are winning make this a river check. The outside possibility that you will be chk/rzd also adds to checking the river.

Yes, this was my thought. I should have saved the river bet. I think calling the flop and raising the turn were correct, but the river bet was bad.

Also, thank you for not replying "yeah, that's spewing," and putting some thought into it.

I think once he calls the turn after that level of hesitation he really wants you to check through the river so he doesn't have to think about calling again. Regardless, he is still calling a river bet 99% of the time once he commits to calling the turn raise. I like the turn raise, don't like the river bet.

Its been said, but basically it is fine until the river. After he calls the turn raise, there is no hand he has that will fold if it better than yours 99 is showing the down. If he has AQ , he's not calling anyway, so just save the river bet.

Then its hopeless. What better hands call the turn but fold a river bet? Any 2 out hands are calling the turn to call the river, and so is any 5 out hand. This river bet has no value at all, unless the villian is so bad he'll call all the way w/77.
