This is actually an ideal time for a check/call. If he's agro he could easily bluff raise this river if he senses weakness, and will probably bet with a bunch of missed draws (9T, KT, hearts).

What would he have called your flop and turn bets with?

I would think this is what a blocking bet was made for. If you check, a real LAG will make a huge bet at this pot whether he has a queen or not.

Was he a bad lag? Would he be calling you down with nothing.

Seems the worst a decent LAG would have is a heart draw... otherwise, I'm thinking there's a good chance you're behind.

if this guy is aggressive i think your getting blown off your hand regardless of what he has. that river sucks.

How much do you call? If you think he would bluff raise a smallish bet then how much do you think he'll bet if you check? I'm thinking blocking bet but a bigger one than normal..like 60. You don't get blown off the best hand and you probably get a call from a J(I'm putting villian on a J).

[/ QUOTE ] He is loose and very aggro. This should tell you that he would probably have shown some aggression allready with a Q or a set. The river looks like a great scarecard for him. I'm pretty sure you should call.

What's up with the small preflop-raise?

call that bluff, if he has a Queen I doubt an aggro player would smooth call top pair with possible straight and flush onboard. jmo, I don't think dude's got a lady

I was sb so I made it 7 to go. normally here I make it 9 with AQ or something, but since one player was in the blind and the other just called in late position I figured they would probably fold to anything more than 7.

Anyway Villan showed A10 of hearts and I felt like a bitch. He actually was about 50/50 to win the hand (considering he didnt know my hand). I am suprised he didnt raise earlier. ah well.

Does "very agro" for the villain mean that he tends to fast-play his draws in position? If not, I think checking to induce a bluff from a busted flush or straight draw is better than betting.
