What is the easiest/cheapest way to get downtown from the South Strip?

Take I-15 north about 4 miles (depending where you get on from the Strip), merge into US-93/95 south (you'll see a sign that says "PHOENIX/DOWNTOWN LV", then get off on the first exit, which is Casino Center Drive. This exit will put you in the heart of the downtown casinos.

Easiest - Cab
Cheapest - Bus

Easy: Get in a cab, tell driver "Take me downtown". Flip driver a $20 when you arrive.

Cheap: Stand at a bus stop along the strip. Get on the 301 bus. About 45 minutes later get off downtown.

If you have ANY money at all it would be best spent on a cab. I spent 2 1/2 hours on a bus once.

Lol, very true, the only nice part was the bus took dollar bills, something they dont do in NYC

Back to your original question. The easiest and quickest way to get downtown is to take a cab. The cheapest would be by bus. I guess it depends on how much you value your time.
