Hmm TT Hand

I've been playing a lot at the B&M recently where hands really aren't very interesting. I played a quick sesh last nite and this one came up. The table was running at 39/4 for my 1st 15 hands. UTG and BB were 40/0 after 12 hands. I saw BB limp with KQo after some limpers a few hands earlier fwiw. All streets are undoubtedly questionable/piss poor.

Party Poker 2/4 Hold'em (10 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is UTG+1 with T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].
UTG raises, Hero calls, 6 folds, SB calls, BB calls.

Flop: (8 SB) Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (4 players)
SB checks, BB checks, UTG checks, Hero checks.

Turn: (4 BB) 4[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (4 players)
SB checks, BB bets, UTG calls, Hero calls, SB folds.

River: (7 BB) 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (3 players)
BB bets, UTG folds, Hero goes into the tank and eventually calls.

Final Pot: 9 BB

How did I do? All comments/questions welcomed.

Side Note: I got a coulple of 40's (Mickey's) on hand so I'll be down to play some HU .02/.04 on Stars if anyone wants to get a cheap poker lesson.

I'd say 3-bet PF and bet the flop. I'd grudingly fold the river.

I'll watch if any dares challenges Shill to a HU match. I'm too scared ever since he took me on a ride.

Bet the flop. Play changes from there.

I'd say 3-bet PF

Why re-raise PF? To isolate? Considering the fact that over 15 hands he's never PFR'ed, and considering he's doing so now UTG, I think I'd rather take TT against a field than a lone group1-2 hand.

But I could be a blockhead. I'm tired.

Re: Hmm TT Hand

There are basically 3 reasons why I didn't bet the flop

1) What hand can I beat on this board?
2) What hand that I beat will fold?
3) What if he flopped a doozy and is slowplaying?

I'm confused. Why not 3-bet preflop?

Why not bet the flop? You can always call a raise and then fold to a bet if the turn doesn't help?

Re: Hmm TT Hand

You don't think he would fold black jacks? Having not bet the flop I would fold on the river. I just 3 bet these preflop as why not get it heads up. 15 hands is nothing you may as well try.

ps: rematch whenever you want it. I beat some losers on pokerstars when I was bored to rebuild my 0.02/0.04 heads up bankroll

Re: Hmm TT Hand

Its only 15 hands so we can't be sure of that yet.

I would easily let go of this hand on the turn/river without any improvement.
