I honestly don't understand your post but here is reality.On expiration of the feb options the market was trading at 6.80.I assumed I would be assigned the feb 7.50 puts and sold April 10 calls against them.But miracle of miracles you survived...a birdie landed on your shoulder.The market rallied and settled at 7.60.

That is the real world,not your hypotheticals.

Now Iam selling and have been selling April5puts a buck or more...no hedge except I have some april 10 calls that i am short.If we go below 5 I

will sell the july or oct 5 calls..this is real.

Oh and by the way thanks again for turning me on to interactivebrokers.com
