Bet on em too, that will make it more 'emotional'.

as a Red Sox Nation resident, I am also rooting for the ChiSox, but mostly so I can say "We were beatin' by the best, son" ala the Carnival Grifters episode of the Simpson's.

So you know for a fact that both Bagwell did steroids, and Biggio did not?

LOL.

Biggio deserves a ring far more than Frank Thomas, though. He's a poster boy for aspiring little-leaguers everywhere. Thomas does deserve a ring though. He's gone through some lean years in Chicago, yet stayed around there his whole career.

I know, that's why it was hard. However, assuming Rocket/Pettite/Oswalt/Lidge don't die over the offseason, I think they'll have a better chance of getting back to the WS next year. Thomas is all but out in Chicago, especially if they can't resign Konerko.

Of couse, I know absolutely nothing about the Astro's contracts so I might be completely wrong in my assumptions. I'd rather not be corrected though, as I don't want to have to think about this again.

I love Frank Thomas, and I range from ambivalent to hatred for the other sox. I'm not an Astros fan but I really respect them because we sure as hell have history with them.

Im just wondering why everyone is accusing Baggs of Steroid use, I never heard much about it until we made it this far.

Is it just because he is injured this year? God forbid he get hurt the year after they start more stringent steroid abuse.

Just wondering if this is general consensus, or more stros bashing from guys bitter because their teams are working on their long drive.

I, too, will be a major Sox fan for the next two weeks, so that I can take extreme pleasure in the anguish and pain coursing through K Steel's soul.

I hope he cries.
