Turn decision...
5-handed 4/8
I have about 1.3k, villain about 900. I open-raise button with K [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]J [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] to 32, SB folds & BB calls. He seems a decent enough player, pretty aggressive, a little on loose side I think (but maybe that says more about me than him…). He hasn’t seen me do anything out of the ordinary. Flop is a nice K [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] J [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 8 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] He checks, I bet 50, he calls. Turn is 4 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], he leads for 200. What’s your play? |
Re: Turn decision...
The fact that you don't have the King or Jack of clubs leads me to believe you're ahead here. A set of eights is possible but more likely he's got either a flush draw +str8 draw or flush draw +pair.
I think you're ahead here often enough to push. He may even call if he's got both a flush and straight draw due to the chance that you're semi-bluffing the under-draw. |
Re: Turn decision...
Raise as much as you can to commit him. either say to $500, or just all in. hopefully he turned two pair or a fl. draw.
