Radio Stations Reception in Las Vegas Cardrooms

I know everyone is IPOD crazy now, and yes I can record these radio shows and transfer them over to my IPOD so I can even listen to them w/o commericals and such... However, how about waking up early and putting in a nice session listening to some live Stern on the air... Wouldn't that be nice?

There are two radio shows that I'm a big listener of:

[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]#1 The Howard Stern
(PST Time 3am-6am live, 6am-9am rebroadcast)
Las Vegas Radio Station - 107.5 FM

[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]# 2 The Tom Leykis Show
(PST Time 4pm-7pm)
Las Vegas Radio Station - 1140 AM

There are also some real good radio stations out in Vegas (even that new JACK-FM is pretty good 105.1) ...

Firstly, I wouldn't mind listening to some Tom Leykis (Clearly...) while playing some cards at MGM Grand or perhaps the Wynn....

Questions:
-What cardrooms in vegas have you experienced clear reception on FM or even AM?

What are your favorite Las Vegas radio stations?

-Is this idea even feasible considering that Casinos mess up even strong cell phone reception....

Of course I'm speaking of using an ipod size AM/FM walkman, not a bigass radio for you retarded people out there

Those slot machines must put out some unbelievable interference, because I've never been able to pick up any radio station inside a casino.

Never tried listening in a casino, but 1140 has a great lineup. They've got Phil Hendrie (the best radio show ever IMO) in the evening and again in the morning as a repeat, Don & Mike and Leykis in the afternoon, all good shows. Unfortunately the reception for me turns to crap after dark. They need a stronger signal to knock out the other stuff that's coming in at night (or maybe I need a better radio). The other unfortunate thing about 1140 is that everything gets preempted for Dodger games.

About the only time I even change the dial is to 840 AM late at night for Art Bell's show or to ESPN 920 for sports. Can't tell you much about the FM, not much that I like there.

Edit: Oh yeah, forgot to mention Larry Grossman's show on AM 1460 at 2 p.m. Sports betting is the usual topic, but he always interviews a poker celeb on Wednesdays.
