JTo UTG against LAG

I decided to play above my BR (I usually play 1/2) to see if I could handle it (and I got some birthday $ ) Villian was LAGish, rest of the table seemed decent. I raised PF to narrow the field, the 3-bet from CO worried me so I just called. Flop I had 2 overs and a BDSD, so I bet out. CO gets aggressive again so I put him on an overpair. Turn I bet out as a bluff when the ace fell, seems like it slowed CO down so I can narrow his hand. River, I spiked one of my outs, so I bet out again. Should I have just called the river raise?

Fold preflop.
check/call the flop.
check/fold the turn.

To be perfectly honest every street was misplayed.

Preflop - fold this 100% of the time

Flop - ack ... u got no piece of this board there is no reason to continue even if villains got overs your looking at about 7 outs if their all clean, prob not the case.

Turn - Good Idea but your not getting a better hand to fold here and your just looking to be raised again.

River - So you hit a jack but the overpair you put him on still beats you why lead out again. Your only being called by a better hand here.

check/fold the turn.

I disagree, bluffing will win a good percentage of the time in this large pot.

I disagree, you contradict yourself. A big pot is not gonna get anybody to fold. If villain is a decent player one bet is not going to get him to fold kk or qq guaranteed assuming thats what he has which might not be true.

Re: JTo UTG against LAG

I dont want to concentrate on preflop, my question was about the river.

You shouldnt be there but thats a check/fold situation right there. BTW you should concentrate on preflop, flop, and turn as well cause they were all misplayed
