AC - Thursday night v. Friday night action?

I'm planning a trip to AC in a week or two, and trying to decide what night to stay.

We can get a pretty good room rate on a thursday night (something like 50/night at the trop).

How is the action on a late thursday night? Are the tables anywhere as loose as a late friday or saturday night where everyone is drinking heavily?

How much tighter can I expect the tables to be?

Other suggestions also appreciated for places to stay (borgata, tropicana, etc)

what are you planning on playing?

In the past the Thurs nights i've been there i've only played low limits 4/8 or 6/12 and like any other day they've been loose.

1/2 NL is always juicy, everywhere in AC.

you should have nothing to worry about playing 1/2 nl.

6/12 limit is low limits. 1/2 No limit is no limit also. If you are planning on playing 1/2 Limit then you are going to be dissapointed, because it doesn't exist.

All the low limits are always good. Thursday nights are obviously not as busy as Fridays, but there is plenty of action to go around. Rooms definitely aren't dead....you'll find lists just about everywhere.

Most weekend tournaments start at $100+20 buy in. Check some different web sites out though to see if you can find one. Every casino posts their tournament schedule online.
