Sklansky is doing this because he likes to troll 2+2'ers.
Deep down Sklansky knows that 2+2 is a giant echo chamber filled with people seeking external validation. He actully doesn't respect most posters on this forum. He knows that if he posts the most inane BS it will get lots of replys.

He wants to understand why some people can have illogical beliefs even after they are told the undeniable truth.

People won't openly admit the reasons they still limp with AK preflop even after he has explained how bad it is to them a million times. But they will tell him why they think there is a God.

Once he knows why some people can have illogical beliefs even after they are told the undeniable truth he can use the information.

He will only use this knowledge to get people to play better poker. Or to make more money for himself when he plays. He will not take God away from the masses. Will he? [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]

will you can't 'prove' there isn't a god anyway. Unless you believed in it your whole life, died for a little while, then came back from the dead to report that you saw no heaven/hell.
