Looks pretty standard to me, although I have trouble with these as well. On the flop or turn I may go for a check raise here, but a lot of times I won't get any action when I do that. Also you risk not having anyone bet and then you have given a free card, which doesn't matter much in this case, losing the bets is the bigger disappointment.

I usually let the BB trap the field for me on the flop.

If I'm value betting the river, its 15$. I think better is to try for a check-raise, though.

yeah, normally I do 15. not sure what made me do 20 this time.

I think if any street were to be checked, the flop would be it.

I don't like checking the turn here.

what do you guys think about overbetting the flop then betting 1/2 to 2/3 on the turn?

You mean representing a vulnerable K, then throwing out a weak bet because you "smell a trap?" Sounds like a fine change-of-pace line. Or do you just mean you'd like to build the pot a little more on the flop?

You don't like the induce bluff idea?

I thought about it but this guy has minraised preflop straight for the last 5 hands but he becomes passive postflop.

I think its a possible line but a flop checkraise seems too suspicious?

maybe I'll try it next time.

Re: How do you play big hands out of position?

why would you want to flop checkraise based on this hand? It went perfect excepting him not calling the river..

Re: How do you play big hands out of position?

you said induce bluff or let BB trap so I wasn't sure what you meant.

if I check flop, I check call. but these guys will probably underbet flop if I check to them anyways thats why I bet it.

I think I should have led the flop for 4 or 4.5 . it discreetly builds pot especially if I get called in 2 places and allows my future bets to be sizable in amount but perhaps not in relation to pot and leaves villain more commited on river.

oh well.
