Is Absolute Worth Whoring at .50/1.00 & Is There A Buddy List Feature?
 

I recently started playing/bonus whoring at Absolute and was wondering what is the smallest level you guys think it is whorthwhile playing at(limit hold em)? Since they don't count hands for the bonus as being raked until the rake reaches .25 it seems to me that you need to play at least 1.00/2.00 to make it worthwhile playing.Also, is there a Buddy List feature on Absolute?Thanks for your comments.

i dont know bout the buddy list feature....

if ur BR cant take 1/2 then .5/1 can definently clear the bonus quickly.

ive found that 6 max tables are the loosest and so have the biggest pots so just select ur game carefully and u will clear the bonus fine

0.5/1 would work but probably very slow. 1/2 limit pots would clear rake with very high %.
I been playing both 0.5/1 and 1/2.

But let me just say that I haven't been winning much if at all. The competition is tight, u can see for urself, lots of other multi tablers there, % Preflop seen is mostly low. 0.5/1 limit seems would be a bit easier than 1/2.

Interestingly, I'm also not sure about the buddy list, cuz I don't use it.

So depending on how good u r, i might say forget Absolute Poker. I myself is starting to think of starting another site and leaving some of the bonus uncleared.

The true absolute morons populate the O8 tables. Plenty of play each and every hand folk. And they love to draw at non-nut lows and runner runner lows.

Make sure you get rakeback if you go there. Bonus doesn't count against rakeback.

I got rakeback through Raketracker, thanks.I have played a few hundred hands there at .50/1.00 and I am seeing about 1/3 of the pots raked .25.Is this about average for this site?

There is no buddy list, but there is a "find buddy" feature.

I am currently working the initial sign up bonus (150% off of a deposit up to $100). So, playing full (9-seat) ring at .50-1.00, it has been averaging 40% or so raked at .25 or more. (311 hands out of 745 total)

As for the difficulty, 745 hands is not remotely close to enough to really have an informed opinion of course; but, it is not as tight as most of the Empire tables I have been at lately.
