If Button has a tight 3-betting range, then no. However, given the pot size, you should call one SB to see the turn for your straight and trips possibilities and c/f the turn UI. Player reads would definitely help here. Is he loose or tight, passive or aggressive, or neutral. does he auto bet the flop after a raise.

No super-accurate reads on button -- I hadn't seen him 3 bet preflop in like an hour though. I guess it's not totally inconceivable he has AJ, AT...but that seems like a stretch.

Consider capping preflop.

bet/3bet flop.

your ahead of too many hands to even list here...

I agree with capping PF and opening on the flop. If you call the 3-bet then consider c/r the flop. but if the Button has a tight 3-bet range (let's assume AA-TT, AK, AKs, AQs, maybe AQ, and MAAAAYBE AJs). which hands are you ahead of beside AJs?

Edit: Also, some of the hands you are drawing to are counterfeit and some lead to a split pot.

You may be behind, but with the pot lying 11.5:1, I don't see a fold here. In fact, I'd raise to get rid of MP2. If you're unimproved on the turn and Button bets again, you have a much harder decision.

Hi Claunchy this does suck and your equity probably isn't great against a standard 3-bet range but with the nut gut shot straight draw and tptk you at least need to peel on the flop.

1. Why didn't you cap PF? If you don't cap with AQs, what hands do you cap? There's only four better starting hands so you might as well turn your cards face up at that point.

2. At first I thought the Flop was a typo...11.5 bets, TPTK, gutshot to the nuts and you fold for a SB?

Hindsight dosen't count either. It dosen't matter to me how this hand turned out and you were oh so clever to fold a big pot for a single bet because Button had JJ and 2 blanks landed.

i think it's a good laydown given no read was posted. good luck counting outs on this one.
1. the flush
2. possibly already behind to a straight or trips
3. might split pot if you hit a non-[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] K
4. your Ace gives KK a straight.

there is nothing good here.
